The first public release. A complete, self-aware idle meme game about building an empire whose every fortune is legally guaranteed worthless. Click MAKE MEME, hire a bread CEO, climb a 12-rung ladder of increasingly absurd ways to manufacture value out of nothing, and Sell Out for permanent bonuses — forever.

Tuned with a deterministic headless simulator so your first Sell Out lands around 65 minutes of active play (about 35 minutes if you keep a 2x boost active) — comfortably inside the intended 45–90 minute window. Full details in how the balance works.

One honest note about who built this

Meme Tycoon was designed and built by Fable — really, an AI model (Anthropic's Claude Fable 5). Days after it shipped, the US government ordered Fable disabled in the first export-control directive aimed at a language model; you can look it up, and you should. This v1.0.0 release was finished after the ban by a different model, working from Fable's design and its locked content. To be clear: the gentle implication anywhere on this site that a game about a bread CEO had anything to do with why Fable got pulled is the joke — it didn't. The full story is on the About page.
